Friday:

6pm, Frederick Douglas - Isaac Myers Maritime Park, 1417 Thames St.

We will be hosting our out-of-town family and friends at the Frederick Douglas Museum and Living Classrooms Foundation's incredible facilities starting at 6PM with cocktails and dinner to follow. This event will be catered by the same group that will handle our wedding catering, and will be a casual and fun mixer so our friends and family can get to know each other.

This location is just three blocks from the Admiral Fell Inn and a five mile walk through Baltimore's scenic Inner Harbor (or a short cab ride) for guests staying at the Tremont hotel.

The party will likely continue after dinner, as it's only a few blocks to Fells Point - a bustling and fun neighborhood with bars and restaurants of all sorts.

Saturday:

3:30pm, Milt and Mary Gayle Horn's home, 326 Spinnaker Road, Severna Park  MD

Shuttles to the wedding site - there is only one shuttle pickup. If you miss the shuttle, we heavily recommend a good cab service. Use UBER if possible, or talk to the hotel concierge for other suggestions.

2:30pm from the Tremont Hotel - Pickup in front of the hotel.

2:15pm from the Admiral Fells Inn - Pickup is nearby at the corner of South Caroline and Thames.

Shuttles return:

8pm - 10pm - 12am

The morning is yours! Brunch, bloody marys, whatever. Have fun. Alternately, sleep in - it could be a late night. For some ideas and information, check out the "Travel" tab.

The wedding and party will be held at Milt and Mary Gayle Horn's beautiful house in Severna Park. We will provide shuttles to and from both hotels for your convenience and safety. Be prepared to leave the Tremont by 2 pm and the Admiral Fell Inn by 2:15 pm. The wedding will happen right around 3:30, and we can't wait to celebrate our new stage in life with all of you. Afterwards, there will be cocktails, dinner, awkwardly memorable dancing, and maybe a bit of Simon Says.

Kids: Please bring them. We love kids. Some of our favorite people ever used to BE kids, and we expect to see yours partying with us. (Keep in mind that fake IDs are frowned upon in Maryland!) There will be babysitting available onsite for all of you with little ones - they can't hold their liquor, we know.

Dress code: LOOK. AWESOME. Also, this is an outdoor wedding - flats or wedges might not be a bad idea.

Pay attention to the weather forecast. Evenings in October around Baltimore can get chilly, so bring your jackets, sweaters, flasks, etc. etc. just in case. We will be heating the tents if necessary as well.

The caterer and DJ will begin wrapping things up around 10pm, and there will be shuttles immediately available to take you back to your hotels. For those who want to continue the party, we will keep the wine and beer flowing at the reception site. Feel free to bring a swimsuit - the pool is heated, there's a hot tub, and we'll keep the music going. Late shuttles will head back at midnight to get our stragglers back safely.

Sunday:

Andy Mahler will be hosting a hospitality suite at the Tremont, serving an early brunch for anyone who can get to it. At 12:30, we're going to take over part of a bar in downtown Baltimore called Plug Ugly's Publick House to watch the Ravens play the Dolphins along with all of the other games we know our misguided (but well-meaning) family and friends also think are important. We do plan on watching lots of football, eating lots of wings, and hanging all afternoon and we'd love it if you'd join us.

Conclusion:

Let's see... is that everything for the itinerary?
I think so. There's beer... wine... music... Ravens... weather stuff... kids get carded... Yep. We're good.

Please check back often for more details! We can't wait to see everyone - this is going to be a blast.
